Casa da Porta is a wine that faithfully represents the essence and excellence of the Ribeiro Designation of Origin. Made with the indigenous Treixadura grape variety, this wine is the result of meticulous attention to detail at every stage of the production process. Sourced from our own vineyards, located in the Avia Valley in Leiro (Ourense), Casa da Porta reflects its surroundings. The characteristic granitic soils of Sábrego and the climate, with its Atlantic and Mediterranean influences, create a unique terroir. This combination makes it possible to obtain very fresh and balanced wines with natural acidity and an incredible aromatic profile.

These carefully controlled processes allow Casa da Porta to reach its full potential and express all its complexity and distinctive character.

Excellent with soft and semi-cured cheeses, octopus, razor clams, scallops, and all types of shellfish. Also pairs well with white fish such as sea bass or more robust fish like sea bream or turbot.

Visual: Soft pale yellow color with lemon highlights in its youth

Nose: On the nose, it is complex, fruity, with a saline character and good intensity. Frank and very direct.

Palate:On the palate, it is fresh and flavorful, with ample varietal nuances, a great balance provided by the Treixadura grape, and a long finish. This is followed by the fruity, ripe, and complex character already perceived on the nose.
