Production: Aging took place in new French oak barrels, where it remained for 8 months.
Tasting Notes: A deep, clean, and bright purplish-red color with a very dark crimson hue. This is a lively and expressive wine, with fresh aromas of red fruits such as blackberry, currant, and myrtle, along with elegant tertiary notes from its time in oak, including fine roasted aromas, coffee, medium lactones, and licorice. A lively tannic structure harmonizes with a fresh acidity that enhances the red fruit aromas, along with delicate and seductive hints of toast and roasted coffee, culminating in a long, fresh, and very pleasant finish.
