ILUN was born from the desire to envelop our Hondarrabi Zerratia variety with a clean and light oak that respects the character and personality of our grape. The must ferments in a 5,000-liter French oak vat, where, after becoming wine, it ages on its fine lees. It is stirred daily for 10 months until the desired balance of fruit, wood, and lees is achieved, before maturing in the bottle for many months. A wine with its own personality, refined and full-bodied, that pairs perfectly with a wide variety of dishes.
TASTING NOTES: Light-bodied, it displays a deep cherry color with a beautiful violet rim. It has a high aromatic intensity, immediately highlighting the varietal character and its Atlantic origin. Its herbaceous nature is enveloped by aromas of red fruits such as currant and raspberry
and an elegantly spicy touch. The entry is light and very pleasant, with a smooth and velvety texture. The palate, perfectly balanced, is filled with red fruit and herbaceous flavors, culminating in a fresh balsamic finish. A very easy-drinking wine that invites another
glass.
